With the recent appointment of Coach Murray to West London Track & Field, we are excited to be able to expand our coaching provision in the Pole Vault.

Applications of interest are therefore now invited for athletes wishing to commit to joining Coach Murray's squad. Joining a squad means you wish to make a regular, weekly commitment to attending training sessions, and wish to compete in the event.

The main vault sessions for the squad will be:

Saturday 1.30pm - 3.30pm

Monday 5.15pm - 7.15pm.

An additional weekly physical preparation session will be also available for athletes who can attend, from 6.30pm - 8pm on a Thursday. This will be supervised by one of our Assistant Coaches.

Coach Murray will formulate a full programme for each athlete in the squad, which includes technical, physical and complementary skills. This will include 'homework' general conditioning sessions, that can be completed at home away from Brunel.

Coach Murray's programme will be based on the renowned West London Pole Vault model, which has produced multiple championship winning performances.

Location

Sessions are based at Brunel University, in the Indoor Athletics Centre.

Costs

Membership costs per month include all coaching, programming, and use of equipment and poles for training, and comes at a cost of just £65 per month (payable by standing order). This equates to a great value proposition of just £8.13 if attending just the 2 vault sessions per week, or £5.42 if attending the two vault sessions plus Thursday's conditioning.

Please note, athletes will need to purchase their own membership to Brunel's Indoor Athletics Centre, at an additional cost, paid to Brunel University.
